Novato "Junktique"

Ahahaha! Welcome to the Marin POS lifestyle where you must mortgage yourself to the eyeballs just to live in Marin. We are a county of speculative fools. This Novato POS comes in with 2 br 1 ba, 945 sq ft, built in 1953, brick foundation. The realtor write-up is classic:
One person's junk'' is another's antique''. Check out this home with potential: bring your contractors to this fixer. This is a probate with no court confirmation. Home has been added onto and may be bigger than original tax records. One car garage with 6800 sq. Ft. Lot and built in 1953 on tree-lined street in good location [realtor contact info deleted].
Of course, if it was priced appropriately, say $100K, then it wouldn't be a POS at all. But at an eye-popping $500,000 asking price, it's my latest Marin POS entry.

If you buy this POS you are, quite simply, too stupid to live.

OMG. Those two tall trees in front. I realize some people have a mania for privacy and go in for this sort of thing, but the trees have gotten so huge they only serve to dwarf the house and make it look like even more of a tiny POS than it already is. Nice going, geniuses.

I just CANNOT take my eyes of those trees. They are just giant. And ugly. Completely complements that house.

And very flammable. Cypress ignite like a torch, and can touch off a house six doors down.
