Mill Valley Possibilities
Sorry about the lousy photo quality; the realtor obviously does not know how to effectively use a camera.

Great possibilities in mill valley. This home is currently configured as two unwarranted units. Situated on a lovely level lot. Each unit consists of one bedroom and one bathroom, fireplace, and decks. Explore the potential! Two unwarranted units in an ugly-arsed structure (built in 1958). No granite or marble countertops, no uber-appliances, nada, zip, zilch. In Mill Valley, $625,000 just buys you "possibilties".

I've no clue on the neighborhood or the structural integrity (or lack thereof) of that house, but I'm guessing that one sells for over $700K. Like it or not that is very cheap for MV, even if it is in Tam Valley.
Just curious, but how many people snoop around MV to assess the general build quality of houses there? I would think that anyone moving there would check things out first. Individually, there are some nice homes built above the town, but in general there's an awful lot of dreck near downtown, ironically near pricey shops. It's really embarrassing for such a "prime" location.
is that bedrooms and/or bathrooms?
I actually looked at this place- it's basically a tear down. The "bedrooms" are actually partitioned off from the main room. When we walked in my realtor said "I thought it would smell like this".
The neighbors were sitting out on their apartment front porch in a large housedress chewing tobacco, I kid you not. If that gives you any idea of the neighborhood...
The photos look like they came off of a cell phone camera in low-resolution mode. If I was the seller, I'd be upset about the listing.
Does the seller have "innernet"?
Maybe they don't even know what a listing is and is just letting the techno-ignorant realtor determine a pie-in-the sky price?
Or... maybe they realtor doesn't want a high definition pic of the place. Kinda just let you be disappointed on the spot hoping it is a gem.
It's an "Instant Slum (TM)" duplex.
