Time for a Poll
Ok, so I think it is about time we have another poll to see which one of the currently identified Marin PoSs wins the Golden Turd Award. Please review the various PoS posts and nominate your choice(s). I'll review the submissions and fashion a poll. The winner of the last Golden Turd Award will by necessity be on the new poll.

My vote is "not for the faint of heart," owing to that writeup.
Just Shoot Me Now is my favorite.
The envelope please.....
Just Shoot Me Now is the clear winner here, though Not For the Faint of Heart is close. I have a feeling that Faint of Heart could possibly be made liveable by someone..though not at that price..Shoot Me Now is Dozer Bait.
"Dude, Where's the Car"
By far the funniest gets the gold. What is more ridiculous than a garage pretending to be a house. At least those other shitshacks were meant for habitation.
Silver to " Monkey Bars Not Included" I got vertigo just looking at the picture.
Bronze to "How Small Can We Go?"
Yoou would be just as well off as that homeless guy under the bridge with a refrigerator box.
For the sheer alienation/isolation/horror factor of it all, i've got to nominate "tomb to a view".
No real windows and not even a tree in sight.
That place gives me the shivers.
I rent in marin,
please shoot me now.
Just shoot me now for that crazy slope.
"Just shoot me now".
It brings back very fond memories of the treehouse I built with scrap lumber when I was nine yrs old.
BTW how much does a 6x6 treehouse sell for in Marin?
Nominations are closed. A very large poll can be found in the right-hand margin of this blog. Vote away and have fun. The prestigous Golden Turd Award will be decided in a couple weeks or until a sufficient number of votes have been cast.
"Just Shoot Me Now" won my vote because it's so much worse cosmetically than "Not for the Faint of Heart" -- and probably equally likely to collapse on an unsuspecting realtor.
Those two had to be the top contenders -- they're not only not worth the asking price, they're so bad that the owner should be paying to have the scrap hauled away.
I don't think "Just Shoot Me Now" was built for its curb appeal. But it is a fine example of how ludicrous our RE market has become.
Flat roof and pitched lot, "Just Shoot Me Now" is way out ahead in the poll. Time to pass out the awards and start a poll for 2nd place.
