Brings Out the Sarcasm in Fairfax

Built in 1920 . 1 bedroom 1 bath. Beautiful setting but home needs fair amount of repair. 994 sf in this charming cottage if you have the talent to restore this beauty...
Located in Fairfax. Asking $565,000.

Judging by the pictures, all of the fixtures are vintage 1920s and are showing every one of their 86 years worth of use.

manufactured small-town charm; no small-town riffraff to deal with

...just quite a few people with incense, crystals and THC now occupying their once-youthful brains. Ross and San Anselmo do have that "small town charm", but at a price only a village idiot would understand.

I think the chip on your shoulder is getting bigger! It's not just Marin real estate you're bashing nowadays.

Agree with the previous anon. All that bitterness will eventually eat up your insides. Time to let it go - ever think of moving?

So who's the touchy one here? Geez, can't we laugh at local culture, or critique these lousy homes? If have to see 50 yo women dressing as teenagers, walking their coiffed Bichon frise, I'm sure going to find some humor there.

Yeah, I went a bit too far on this one too. I need a vacation.

No bitterness here, just making fun of yuppies. But I did cross the line with some of those comments; I removed them. It's still a crappy Marin house.
